Forex Magnates held "Tokyo Summit 2013" at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Tokyo on July 17th, 2013. Forex Magnates is the world largest media website, specializing forex news and research source providing to FX industry. Forex Magnates regularly organizes global B to B FX conferences. Following "London Summit 2012" in November 2012 and "iFXEXPO" in Macau in January 2013, it is first time for Japanese FX industry to experience such a big even in Tokyo.
"Tokyo Summit 2013" is an exclusive meeting of Japanese and foreign FX related firms such as brokers, liquidity providers, and service companies including system developers, information or tool service providers. More than 800 FX executives, key professionals and media attended from all over the world. The 3rd floor of the hotel reserved for the summit venue. The attendees presented the letter of invitation by advanced registration to reception, could also visit the booth area which located just next to reception. The networking and exchange of information and opinions have been waged as well as get a chance to touch the solution of foreign companies that are not able to contact quite regularly.
The total 32 companies has displayed booth. Among them, Japanese companies are Nomura Securities, CrossBridge and Nextop.Asia.
The four themes panel discussion also took place. Japanese and overseas top executives of companies which represents FX industry providing new service to investors and led the market expansion has appeared as panelist to discuss such as overseas FX platform, China FX market, FX overseas expansion and liquidity functions. The various opinion and views based on their initiative were presented and many attendees made positive comments for the reference to their future business.
Subsequent to the panels and special presentation, five start-up companies made presentations with limited time of five minutes each. The followings are name of companies and their products feature:
1. CorrSight - Analyzes trade by own rule data base
2. Lagarto Technology - Technology developer and provider of "TF Trader"
3. Centillion - Signal based new manual order service "Remosys" for system trade
4. Nextop.Asia - Developer and provider of "NEXTRADE"
5. Traders Education - Online trading education services
The participants voted and Nextop.Asia won the "Most Innovative Financial Product Award". The company which won the award at London Summit last year was Tradable. Tradable`s open platform based API with Monex Securities provides an application which investors can choose a functions and tool freely. Tradable is aiming to penetrate services with this new style never seen before. They really put the force to hold special presentation and individual working sessions twice in another hotel room for developers.
Nowadays, as the development of rules and regulations and brokerage platform services are certain level, the discovery of value premise to provide added value is essential for survival and realization of service. There are many companies which challenge various themes as start up issues and we could learn much from them. Those themes includes services that lead to performance improvement by education and system trading analysis from the perspective of investors, achievement and communication of investors each other, deployment of smart phone first, including the use of HTML5 and services to leads trade performance which investors faces.
