インターネット専業銀行の楽天銀行株式会社（本社：東京都品川区、代表取締役社長：國重 惇史、以下「楽天銀行」）は、アジア地域の銀行専門誌「The Asian Banker」が主催する「The International Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards 2011（優れたリテール金融サービス表彰2011）」において、「Best Direct Bank Award」を受賞いたしました。

The International Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards 2011は、アジア太平洋、中央アジア、中東、アフリカ地域におけるリテールバンキングに関し、透明性の高い評価プロセスを通じて、各国毎やプロダクト毎のアワードを選出するプログラムです。

楽天銀行はeコマースビジネスとインターネットバンキングの成功モデルを構築し、迅速で効果的な決済サービスを提供していることが評価され、29カ国170以上の銀行の中から、「Best Direct Bank Award」を受賞いたしました。
